The second Western Australian Father of the Year Award is now open for nominations, with the winner to be announced at a ceremony to be held on or around Father’s Day in September. The Award recognises that fathers or father figures have made family a priority whilst balancing work/community/social commitments and to celebrate the significant role fathers play in their children’s lives and to share their success in the community in WA.
The Western Australian Father of the Year will be assessed on their commitment to raising children, triumphs over adversity, contribution to the well-being of children in general and leadership shown in fathering activities.

Professor Bruce Robinson, honorary Chairman of the Awards Committee stated

MAN Healthier Directions for Males, The Fathering Project, Dads WA Ngala and Meerilinga are coordinating the Award. Each undertakes a key role in Men’s Health, wellbeing and fathering outcomes in Western Australia.
