The ‘Working With Dads’ professional development training visited the far north town of Kununurra Monday 4 August. Dads in the Early Years program leader Gary Segal facilitated the training session which had 11 participants from services working in Kununurra and East Kimberley region. Organisations represented were Wunan Foundation, Save the Children, Kununurra Children and Family Centre, Gawooleng Yawoodeng Aboriginal Corporation, and Boab Health Services. Participants engaged enthusiastically in the activities and discussions, which often focussed on the local situations for fathers and their families, and feedback was positive.
