Position: Parenting Facilitator

Part Time Level 5 – 6


Located in our Cockburn office, the Parenting Facilitator performs a range of parenting and community development functions.

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Have demonstrated experience in delivery parenting programs and workshops to families
  • Have demonstrated experience in group facilitation
  • Have demonstrated experience in building strong collaborative partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders, agencies and networks
  • Have sound knowledge and understanding of child development from birth to 18 years
  • Can work flexibility to meet the needs of families

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. Expectations and terms of employment will be discussed at interview.

Early Childhood Training & Assessment Officer

Meerilinga Young Children’s Foundation Inc. trading as Meerilinga Training College (RTO 6000) offers nationally recognised training and assessment and professional development services and early education services.


We are seeking a dynamic, motivated experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our Education services team. Reporting to the College Manager, the successful applicant will have:

  • Qualifications in Early Childhood Sector – CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or a Trainer Matrix demonstrating skills, currency and knowledge mapping to qualification.
  • Qualification in Training and Assessment – TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with additional units of competence TAELLN411 and TAEASS502.
  • Proven facilitation skills and experience with work place assessment , planning of learning programs , design and moderation of assessment tools
  • Time management and decision making skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain a current Western Australian Driver’s Licence, third party insurance and a reliable vehicle for transport for the duration of employment.
  • Ability to travel and work out of hours work (evening and weekends) for occasional training, organisational and community events.
  • Provide Working with Children Card and National Police Clearance Certificate on commencement and maintained for duration of employment.
