Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Educator Position

Ballajura / Beechboro area

15 – 22.5 hours pw


A unique opportunity to be part of a small team of trained Educators in a pre-kindy environment. Our beautiful services are integrated within the Children and Family Centres. Our 20 place services offer children aged 2.9 years to 5 years play based learning from 8.30am to 3.30pm, 5 days per week.

Our selection requirements are:

Meerilinga is offering Diploma CHC50113 traineeships through Meerilinga Training College in our Early Learning Services. Each position will offer a minimum of 15 hours a week however candidates must be able to work up to 22.5 hours per week between 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Persons currently completing CHC30113 can apply.

We are seeking candidates:

  • Who hold a nationally recognised Certificate III in early childhood or equivalent
  • Who hold a Working with Children Check (WWC)
  • Are passionate in working with children and supporting families
  • Able to work as part of a quality organisation
  • Reliable, flexible and a professional standard of presentation and attitude
  • Able to manage and balance work with study and commit personal time for extended study and assessment activities
  • Passed Year 10 Numeracy and Literacy
  • Technology skills
  • 18 yrs. or over

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Children’s Services Award 2018 and Meerilinga Flexibility Agreement.
