Meerilinga celebrated Families Week with a fun filled morning at Meerilinga Children and Family Centre Cockburn Monday 16 May 2016. The children and families in attendance had lots of fun engaging, chatting and making new friends. Activities included nature threading, playdough, collage, block play with dinosaurs and animals, rock painting, facing painting, an obstacle course, building and playing with large foam blocks, a special session of Move and Groove, bubbles and pass the parcel ! Everyone finished up with a sausage sizzle and platters of yummy watermelon and rock melon, coupled with a beautiful sunny day it was a great success!
A big thank you to all staff and volunteers who helped organise and facilitate the event and the lovely donations from the local IGA, Coles, Bakers Delight and Officeworks for their fun activity and helper for the day.
