In 2015 the Commissioner for Children and Young People is undertaking a peer-led consultation in partnership with the Youth Affairs Council of WA, which will focus on gathering the views of young people from non-English speaking backgrounds, such as refugees or recent migrants, about the opportunities and challenges in their lives and their access to support.
To support the face-to-face consultations, and enable any CALD child or young person in WA to participate in the consultation and have a say, an online survey has been released.
Views contributed via the survey will help the Commissioner better understand the issues affecting CALD children and young people.
