Due to changes to the Parenting Services funded through the State Government Department for Local Government and Communities, Meerilinga will close its Parenting Support Home Visiting Service to agencies and families as of the 15 February 2017. No new referrals will be accepted from 6 February 2017.
Children and family centre based parenting activities and play groups will continue, for details please visit your local Meerilinga Children and Family Centre.
NEW SERVICE to SOUTH WEST METROPOLITAN REGION
From 1 April 2017, partnering agencies Meerilinga, City of Cockburn and Kwinana Early Years Services (KEYS) will be offering parenting service options for families in the following South West Metropolitan Region.
Referrals to a wait list for individual support services will be taken for families in the local government areas of Fremantle, East Fremantle, Melville, Cockburn, Kwinana and Rockingham. For referrals or details of current parenting groups and services please contact your local provider directly.
