Raising healthy children with Maggie Dent

Meerilinga and Bullsbrook College were proud to host a free seminar with Maggie Dent at Bullsbrook College Wednesday 10 February and as part of the ZigZag Partnership provide a seminar to the High Wycombe community at the Maida Vale Baptist Church Thursday 11 February.

In the seminar at Bullsbrook College Maggie Dent explored the 10 keys to parenting that support happy, healthy and resilient children capable of realising their full potential. A back to basics guide to calm, common sense, connected parenting for parents with children birth to 8 years was provided to the High Wycombe community.

Maggie Dent is a popular and well-respected author, educator, and parenting and resilience specialist with a particular interest in the early years and adolescence. She has a broad perspective and range of experience that shapes her work, working first as a high school teacher for 17 years before becoming a counsellor with young people and families.

Maggie is an advocate for the healthy, common sense raising of children in order to strengthen families and communities. Maggie is a passionate, positive voice for children of all ages.
