Meerilinga Ballajura
Our Meerilinga Ballajura Service is an integral part of the Ballajura community and is proudly supported by the City of Swan. We’re located right next to the Ballajura Library, community health nurse, community swimming pool, community oval and a short walk to the Ballajura Shopping Centre.
This facility has several generous sized areas that can accommodate large groups. Meerilinga Training College shares this location with various community groups and our regulated Early Learning Programs (ELP) for children aged 0-5 years. The Early Learning Program area features a huge nature-based outdoor play environment with a large undercover area to encourage safe outdoor play whether there’s rain or shine!
In addition to trainer support on practical placement in a Regulated Early Education and Care Service, students regularly engage with our ELP enabling them to learn practical skills in the workplace whilst being guided by industry qualified and skilled Educators. Our blended classroom delivery supports a consistent approach for learning, allowing students to put their theory learning straight into practice, as they work towards completing the required practical placement hours for the course.
Students have access to free Wi-Fi, kitchen amenities including tea and coffee making facilities, and a fridge and microwave for their food.
The Service is nestled between Hepburn Avenue and Alexander Drive on the edge of Kingfisher Oval. Nearby bus stops on Illawarra Crescent are serviced by bus routes 344, 360, and 378.
