Meerilinga Beechboro

Our Beechboro Service is in the heart of a wonderfully diverse community, where culture in particular is celebrated and respected amongst many people from the wider community who come together at our location. Meerilinga Beechboro is supported by the City of Swan and has a wide range of activities and programs on offer for children and adults.

Meerilinga Training College shares this location with various community groups, the local community health nurse and our regulated Early Learning Programs (ELP) for children aged 0-5 years. The Educators in the ELPs frequently use the park next door to educate and inspire a love of nature in our children. The importance of nature-play and healthy lifestyles has also influenced the design of our outdoor play area.

In addition to trainer support on practical placement in a Regulated Early Education and Care Service, students regularly engage with our ELP enabling them to learn practical skills in the workplace whilst being guided by industry qualified and skilled Educators. Our blended classroom delivery supports a consistent approach for learning, allowing students to put their theory learning straight into practice, as they work towards completing the required practical placement hours for the course.

Students have access to free Wi-Fi, kitchen amenities including tea and coffee making facilities, and a fridge and microwave for their food.

The service is tucked in behind Reid Highway and walking distance from Beechboro Primary School. There is a bus stop immediately in front of the service, connected to bus route 343.
